I just spent a week at the Bimini Big Game Club Resort Marina, which was a mixed bag. The diving experience with the Great Hammerhead Sharks was incredible, thanks to the dive team at Neal Watson's Scuba. However, the resort itself felt quite outdated and the service left a lot to be desired. If you're not diving, you might find yourself a bit bored here.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were definitely showing their age, but they were reasonably clean. I noticed some non-working fixtures, which was disappointing. They did have working air conditioning, which was a relief after a hot day.
Service
5.0
Service was generally slow and not very attentive. It felt like they could have been more organized, especially considering the prices they charge. Just be prepared for a laid-back island attitude.
Location
8.0
The location is fantastic for diving and interacting with locals. The resort is pretty much centered around the dive operation, so if diving isn't your thing, you might want to look elsewhere.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited, and I found the restaurant to be just okay. There weren't many seafood choices, but I did enjoy the local rum drinks. However, I highly recommend visiting the sandwich shop nearby for some great food.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities need some improvement; the dive boats were not well-kept and had some issues. It could use a bit of a facelift as it is quite the old establishment.

The hotel has a nice pool and a vibrant restaurant bar, but many amenities need serious upgrades. Rooms were adequate but showed signs of wear and tear, and the overall service could be more attentive. While I had a great diving experience, certain facilities like the dive shop were lacking. Given the price, I don't think it offers good value for money.

Rooms

The rooms were simple and adequately equipped, but they need renovation, especially the concrete floors which aren't ideal for comfort.
Service

The pool was nice, but there was little maintenance, and the dive shop left something to be desired in terms of safety and organization.

I had an overall mixed experience during my stay. The location is great for diving with Hammerhead sharks, plus the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the service was a bit disorganized and the dining options were decent but on the pricey side. I encountered several maintenance issues that detracted from the experience.

I had high hopes for this resort, but my experience was mixed. The location was quite enjoyable for boaters, with a nice pool and bar area, but the service was frustratingly slow. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, recent challenges with the diving operations and dining options detracted from our stay. The overall value felt off due to unexpected costs and disappointing experiences.

Our stay at the resort had its ups and downs. The diving experience was incredible, especially with the hammerhead sharks, but the resort itself was in need of some serious maintenance. While the food was enjoyable at times, there were definitely issues with cleanliness and service. Overall, it's worth considering if you're primarily focused on diving, but don't expect luxury or top-notch amenities.
